Our Patron

Bill Moss AO, published his autobiography Still Walking in 2011.
It was the story of a banker with muscular dystrophy.

He had retired a few years earlier after a spectacularly successful career at Macquarie Bank.

Now in 2025, he can no longer walk, but his mind is, if possible, sharper than ever.

He dedicated his autobiography “…to all the people around the world who carry a disability but are not disabled. Dare to change the world, and you just might find you can.”

Throughout his career, Bill was a strong supporter of charities.
Upon retirement, he founded the FSHD Global Research Foundation,
which—after nearly 20 years—is achieving spectacular success with its research projects.

Bill immediately saw the potential benefit for Special Needs Students in the KareyandKareful Storybooks.
He has supported and guided KareyandKareful’s journey from the very start.
